Supporting Spiritual Foundations
West Jackson believes that children are a gift from the Lord (Psalm 127:3).
While we understand that the primary responsibility for spiritual development of a child is within their own home,
we also understand that it is the church's responsibility to provide a ministry to back-up both the fundamental
and biblical basics for both you and your preschooler.
It is a humbling honor to be entrusted with the care of these precious children. At WJSBC, you can be assured that a
faithful and caring team of teachers awaits each and every child as we have prepared a safe, loving and
nurturing environment for your preschooler.
So, whether you are a member, a visitor or someone searching for a church home, know that
WJSBC is committed to meeting your preschooler's needs.

Meet the Director
After attending Owens Tech, Barstow Community College, serving 7 years in the U.S. Army and 2 years in the Army Reserve, Lisa and her husband Jamie relocated to Tupelo. She and Jamie joined our West Jackson Street Baptist Church family in 1999 and began serving with our preschool almost immediately. She and Jamie have three grown children and 3 grandchildren. With a passion for making sure every child has the opportunity to hear and live the Gospel, serving as the Children’s & Preschool Director since 2005 is a perfect fit.
