This Sunday our church will have the privilege of celebrating “A Life of Ministry.” The retirement of Bro. Don Trammel after more than 40 years of ministry will be a time of appreciation for the lives that have been touched by Bro. Don and Billie Sue and anticipation of the next phase in their lives. I hope you will join me on Sunday morning for a service when we will worship the Lord Jesus and share some time of recognition for Bro. Don and Billie’s ministry. I hope that you will come back that evening to the Fellowship Hall for a “Pot Luck” meal where we will share our food and also share our memories (funny) of Bro. Don. There are some presentations planned that you will not want to miss. June 30th will be Nathan Harper’s first day on staff as our Family Discipleship Minister. Nathan will be working with our children and adults, especially the parents of children. I know you will pray for Nathan, Rachel and Chrisley as they make this move to Tupelo. Nathan grew up in this church and many of you made significant spiritual contributions to his life and now I’m praying that Nathan will make some spiritual contributions to our lives. Thank you for your love for the Lord and prayers for His purpose to be fulfilled.
